Public transit and public health.
During the height of the COVID-19 crisis, face coverings were required in all public spaces where social distancing couldn’t be maintained, including waiting for or riding in a public transit vehicle.
To raise awareness and educate the public about the new requirements and health benefits of face coverings, Elisco created an educational video with the Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s (PRT) marketing department. Elisco’s role included writing, directing, b-roll, and editing.
The video addressed one of the main hurdles for many riders — access to masks and their cost. To promote alternative and affordable mask solutions, Pittsburg Regional Transit CEO Katharine Kelleman demonstrated creative solutions, including wearing a Steelers Terrible Towel and a Pittsburgh Pirates t-shirt. This on-camera scene shot with Voyage Visuals, was a crucial part of the campaign to connect with the public and convey the mask message in a memorable and relatable way.
